Staging Connections Melbourne were recently engaged by Interpoint Events – a division of Intermedia to deliver the audio visual and digital technology for the Australasian Hotels Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) held at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. As the chosen in-house event services provider, our local team were able to provide a complete event staging solution consisting of audio, projection, staging, styling and event technology. A stand out for the event was the inclusion of our audience engagement technologies including Cumulus, an event app with all the event information, Event Poll, which was used to facilitate the Q&A component generating conversations between the presenters and the audience, Event Feed, which displayed up to the minute posts on Social Media. The platforms were a huge success providing discussion topics during networking sessions and attendee posts had the #AHICE2018 hashtag trending nationally.

Interpoint Events moderated the responses to ensure the discussion stayed on track and asked the questions that everyone was thinking. One of the benefits of using a platform like Event Poll, is the client was able to keep the all the incoming questions for post event communications and planning of the event for the following year.
