Simon has worked in the Auckland region for the last 6 years with Staging Connections. He started with the company as a level 1 AV Technician, learning equipment technical solutions with in the day to day business.
He then took a position at the Hilton to further progress his sales experience and learn how events were managed from brief to event completion. Over the years he was promoted to larger event spaces such as Pullman, Langham and SKYCITY. In the four years Simon has been an Event Staging manager he has assisted large conferences to boutique tailored events. He prides himself on event delivery and understanding the client’s needs, while tailoring an audio visual solution, that matches the brief.
With this extensive knowledge gained in all Staging Connections venue spaces, he was promoted at the start of 2016 to Event Manager. This title allows Simon to manage the Staging team with event solutions, technical advice, conceptual designs and guiding the sales team to achieve better planned events.
