Delivering an authentic Vietnamese themed cocktail party

Staging Connections partners with Elevate Communication to create an authentic South Vietnamese themed VIP cocktail event at The Arts Centre Gold Coast.

If you visited The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Friday 27 January you could be mistaken for thinking you had just arrived in Vietnam! Staging Connections partnered with Elevate Communication (Elevate) to deliver an authentic Vietnamese themed cocktail party for PGT-RECLAIMED (Australia) – the Australian distributor of the Vietnamese-founded furniture company. Held in the beautiful Panorama Suite, the intimate event coincided with the celebration for Tet – the Vietnamese Lunar Year.

Guests were treated to performances from London West End musical theatre actress Katie Ray and Queensland band Red Tie Entertainment; and was capped off with a stunning fireworks display to conclude the evening.

Staging Connections collaborated closely with Elevate and their client to ensure the event ‘look-and-feel’ accurately captured the wildly colourful South Vietnamese theme. Traditional Vietnamese hats with Tet inspired yellow blossoms were hung from the ceiling creating a beautiful canopy for the guests to mingle under, while the dry bars were draped in traditional dress fabric custom created for the event.

On the balcony overlooking the Gold Coast city-scape, guests basked in the glowing light of traditional Vietnamese lanterns decorated in beautiful florals. The overall effect of the lighting and theming delivered by Staging Connections created a magical and authentic festive Vietnamese occasion.

“Excellent service as always, and willing to work with us to satisfy the client’s wishes, no matter how many changes or concept directions there were,” Kim Logue, Events Manager, Elevate Communication
