There are more than 105,000 Australians who sleep rough each night of the year. Just under half of these are women; a quarter are under the age of 18. On Thursday 16 June 2011 in capital cities across Australia, CEOs and community leaders will Rise to the Challenge and experience what it is like to be homeless for a night in winter, helping to raise awareness of the real facts of homelessness. All money raised will directly assist the ongoing provision of Vinnies' homeless services across the country.

Staging Connections voted ‘Best AV/Production/Staging/Exhibition Company' in micenet Readers' Choice Awards

Staging Connections has won Best A/V Production/Staging/Exhibition Company in the 2010 micenet Australia Readers' Choice Awards for the second consecutive year. micenet Australia magazine's 54,925 readers were asked to vote for their favourite business event company that they had used during the past twelve months from eleven categories including: Best Hotel, Best Convention Centre, Best Unique Venue, Best Incentive Destination, Best Meetings/Convention Destination, Best PCO/Event Company, Best Destination Marketing/Management Company, Catering Company, Best Convention Bureau, Best A/V Production/Staging/Exhibition Company and Best Product/Service Company. The winners, who were announced at AIME on 15 February 2011, were determined by the number of votes received. Tony Chamberlain, Managing Director of the Staging Connections Group congratulated the Staging Connections team on this outstanding result.
